Vedic Academy Krishna Classes provides an opportunity for parents to give a spiritual touch to the overall development of their children. Through our programs we try to impart values like cleanliness, forgiveness, compassion, gratitude, appreciation, devotion to God and similar such qualities that are very much required for their developing personalities. Groups and Programs that we have :
( Age 6yrs and above )
Value Education : Involves interactive sessions with kids where we teach them values like politeness, humility, Good Association, gratitude, honesty, truthfulness and many more good qualities through stories and instances from Vedic scriptures.
Yoga : We teach kids yoga and exercises recommended for this age.
Music : We have Music teachers coming in to teach Vocal Music. In Mridanga classes, kids get hands on learning with Musical instruments like Mridangam and Kartals.
Vedic Maths: Vedic Math is more than 1500% times faster than normal Math. It sharpens the mind and increases mental agility and intelligence. According to Vedic Math, all of mathematics is based on sixteen sutras, or word-formulae. These formulae describe the way the mind naturally works and are therefore a great help in directing the student to the appropriate method of solution. Vedic Mathematics’ shorter, quicker and easy to remember techniques enable any student to do calculations faster than they would with conventional methods.
( Age 3 to 5yrs)
Devotional English Rhymes: Children love to sing Rhymes. What a wonder it will be if we make the usual rhymes into Devotional Rhymes. For eg. We teach them the same Chubby cheeks song but these chubby cheeks in the song are of naughty Little Krishna. Kids will anyway learn rhymes like I am little tea pot in their schools, here we teach them “I am little Giridhari” in the same tune.
Sloka Recitation : We recite prayers and many other slokas from Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. Learning slokas from a very young age improves their pronunciation and also sharpens the memory very much.
Story Telling : We read from children story books extracted from Srimad Bhagavatam or other vedic scriptures. Each of them have moral and many learnings at the end of the story which we tell them in their own level of understanding.
Crafts : We do crafts based on the theme of the story we learnt that day. Eg. If the story is about Gajendra Moksha , we do a craft on Elephant. These are simple crafts which engages the little minds of the kids to explore and nurture the creativity and talents in them.
